With a myriad of mobile apps being launched each day, it’s a must for brand apps to offer something that provides true value and an enhanced customer experience to encourage people to find real estate on their phone. With that in mind, McDonald’s® Canada, in partnership with Tribal Worldwide – Toronto, has unveiled a new smart app that incorporates user-recognition technology to give its customers even more reasons to say “I’m lovin’ it”.
Intuitive to location, weather, time and even special holidays, the app sends customers tailored offers that can be redeemed in-restaurant right from their phone. Not only is nutrition information available at their fingertips, the Meal Tray feature enables the user to compare menu items to the recommended daily intake, helping people understand how their choices impact their diet. When hunger strikes, people can find the closest restaurant and even filter locations by features such as 24hr, Drive-Thru and Play Place. Future upgrades to the app are set to include mobile ordering and payment.
